CANBERRA CITY SOCCER CLUB
 
GOALS: 
 
1.  To achieve sustained success at the highest competition level in Capital Football
     competition(s)
2.  To establish the club as a role model in developing players, coaches and support staff to    
     achieve sustained success in local competition
3.  To create a club culture that develops people over and above on field success  
 
STRATEGIES:
 
1.  Create a “people first” club culture based on the quality of the people involved with the
     club. 
2.  Recruit and retain people of character who have the capacity to educate and develop
     players, coaches and support staff and assist in the development of the club and the
     realisation of club goals.   
3.  Develop players and coaches from within our club who have the capacity to assist in the
     achievement of club goals.
4.  Develop and maintain a priority relationship with Majura Soccer Club. 
 
2008 OBJECTIVES
 
1.  Continue the process of the development of players, coaches and support staff started in
     2005.
2.  Achieve on field competiveness at the next level (ie. Challenging for finals football) whilst
     maintaining our priority of character first
3.  Clearly define roles and relationships of key personnel within the club in the context of club
     goals. 
4. Rename the Limestone Academy to the Limestone Player Development Academy. 
5.  Continue to develop the Limestone Player Development Academy to incorporate U16 age
     eligible players.
6. Strengthen the club relationship with the Majura Soccer Club through an enhanced
     Limestone Player Development Academy and the introduction of an U16 premier league
     team.
7. Develop the club website to support club goals, strategies and 2008 objectives.
